Small business shopping
Here are a few of my favorite small businesses to shop from. Take a look through and support small businesses this year. This year, more than any other, has thrown a lot of business into a free-for-all of operations and making sure that we just survive through this pandemic. Well, I would love to shed some light on my go-to small businesses so that we can all thrive and not just survive (yes, that rhymed).
These ladies are some of the most talented, ordained, and overall amazing human beings that I’ve met. They are so full of wisdom and love to share; they wholeheartedly believe that there is room for everyone in any industry and that you definitely have something unique to share. They encourage others when they’re dealing with self-doubt and industry burn-out. Anyways, besides their ability to lift others up, they also roast some gooooood coffee! Their unique business process is all female-based. From the producers to the pickers and roasters, they work with women who run coffee farms with their families. I just think that Bianka and Sabreen deserve all of the love and support. Don’t forget their moto “keep it cute or put it on mute.”
WE LOVE BOSS BABE COMPANIES!! Haha, anyways, what’s better than a cute vintage trailer and some delicious caramel candies?! These ladies Celia and Courtney are hard workers just from a glance at their social accounts and I love what they are doing. Their caramels look delicious and are hard to say ‘no’ to. Checkout their Holiday Caramel Gift Box, both adorable and full of goodies.
Okay, so MOG is ran and operated by my bestfriend, Nikki, so I may be a little biased. However, she has such an amazing business that aims to help raise awareness and breakdown the stigmas that come with mental health challenges. Mountains of Grace has really cute t-shirts, sweaters, and stickers. If you have a loved one who struggles or knows the hardships that comes along with mental health challenges, I think that these items would help them feel more heard and understood. My personal favorite is the Mental Health Matters Sweatshirt! Check it out!
ThruHim Clothing has really cute and inspiring faith-based items. The candles are quite divine, the clothing items are well-designed and the founder is the sweetest person. Lydia has been the biggest Chrome Coffee supporter ever since I met her at my local farmers market this summer. Her eye for design and her love for Jesus shows in everything she does and everyone she meets. What better way to celebrate holidays by supporting another female-business owner!
Okay, this one might also be biased but they kind of all are. But, Delta Coffee Roasters is owned, operated, and roasted all by my brother, Eli. He has such a good palette for creating coffee blends or picking just the right single-origin. Eli has some coffee up for sale right now and he has his own unique blend coming out soon so keep an eye out! He roasts to order, and will deliver straight to your door if you’re local to us.
While Fellow Products might be a more well-known name in the coffee world, they still have a fairly small team at their HQ. They have some of the best coffee gear out there and if you are looking for a splurge gift for your favorite coffee lover, look no further. The Stagg EKG Electric Kettle is a must have for the home barista and their Carter Everywhere Mugs make drinking coffee on-the-go a special experience. I love their aesthetic as well as their contributions in the coffee industry.
ANOTHA ONE * DJ Khaled voice *~ female business owner cheeeck! This company gives me all the lovely coffee-aesthetic feels. Sipp has an amazing collection of coffee goods like mugs, merch, and just the cutest gear. They have a lot of options for your coffee or non-coffee lovers. Monica does an amazing job at finding curated items and just knowing what her kind of people love- coffee and cool coffee stuff! Check them out!
The #BlackOwned #FemaleOwned Espresso Yourself Box is THE perfect gift for a coffee lover. With awesome products included in the multiple coffee-lover themed boxes, you’re all set. Plus, Alana, she’s killin’ it. PERIOD. Like she’s got her marketing down, her products curated to a ‘T’ and just her overall fabulous personality on POINT! Go and support this small business today.
Y’all Carlos is out here KILLIN’ the home roaster game!!! He has some really great coffee options availble and even a limited time Holiday Box with a couple of different samplers that sounds deeelish! They also have their own trailer that they’ve been hard at work on and I cannot wait to see how it turns out! Go show all the love and support to this #BlackOwnedBusiness!!
There are SO SO SO many other businesses that I love and want to show support so stay tuned for some more small business highlights coming this holiday season. I hope that you are all staying well and healthy both physically and mentally. I know that the holiday season can be hard on a lot of people and even more so with all of the social distancing going on. If you need anything, a fresh bag of coffee, a plate of food, or just a listening ear, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
All the love,
Moriah <3
